Existing buildings
any building can become smart — no new cables
We turn existing apartment buildings, offices and schools into smart buildings while people keep living and working in them. Only the plant room is wired; everything else talks over the air — about 30 minutes per apartment.

1.2 %
of a renovation budget made a 40-flat building smart
A renovated building of 2,975 m² with 40 apartments: Bisly at 1.2 % of the renovation budget, about €6,100 saved per year, payback in 3.1 years (Bisly reference case).
Three tracks
Which existing building is yours?
- 01
Apartment buildings and copropriétés
Room-level heating, remote-readable meters for the 2027 rules, leak and window alerts — the residents stay at home. A proposal ready for the syndic and the general assembly.
- 02
Offices in use
Wireless room control where cables were never planned or the layout changes; floor by floor, tenants in place. Liivalaia, Tallinn: −30 % energy.
- 03
Schools and public buildings
Installed during the school year; Matter lighting where there is no luminaire wiring; presence and daylight per classroom.
The technology
Break a link and watch the mesh heal
A sub-GHz Wi-SUN backbone carries the building, Thread and Matter run each zone. Cut a link or switch the backbone off — every room keeps its setpoint.
All zones connected
Why now
Three deadlines make retrofit urgent
01
Metering by 2027
Heat meters and heat cost allocators must be remotely readable by 1 January 2027, with monthly consumption information (EED).
02
Renovation targets
The EPBD requires the worst 16 % of non-residential buildings renovated by 2030 and lower average energy use across the residential stock.
03
Energy bills
Room-level control saves about 10 %, about 21 % with hydronic balancing (Cholewa et al., 2017) — from the first heating season.
How it starts
Survey, pilot floor, rollout
01
Radio survey
We walk the building and measure coverage. Scope and budget within 5 working days.
02
Pilot floor
One floor, riser or plant room installed and commissioned with the Installer App.
03
Whole building
Zones and buildings added without construction. AMP X SYNC runs and services the building after handover.

What owners of existing buildings ask
“Can an old apartment building get smart heating control without rewiring or moving residents out?”
“What does a wireless retrofit cost and how fast does it pay back?”
“Is wireless building automation reliable enough for a whole building?”
Start with a radio survey
One visit, a scope and budget in 5 working days, then a pilot floor.
